Sixes on 5/5

I made a killer workout for my IMPACT students last night. Unlike most weeks, I had this workout planned far in advance. I was originally going to stick with a Cinco de Mayo theme; 5 stations, 5 reps, 5 rounds. However, there was a last minute adjustment. Israel’s 66th Birthday happened to coincide with Mexico’s. Since I teach at a Jewish Community Center, I deemed the latter more appropriate and upped the rounds and reps by one, making 6 the number of the day.

Naturally the warm up consisted of 6 exercises; karaokes, jump skips, sprints, side shuffles, high knees, jumping jacks

THE WORKOUT
Station 1
repeat 6 times (6 TRX rows, 6 TRX jump squats)
Station 2
repeat 6 times (6 lateral jumps over line, 6 push ups)
Station 3
repeat 6 times (6 Kettle Bell swings, 6 Kettle Bell hop overs)
Station 4
repeat 6 times (6 weighted lunges, 6 weighted jumping jacks)
Station 5
repeat 6 times (6 mountain climbers, 6 jumping jacks)
Station 6
repeat 6 times (6 Bosu Ball sit ups, 6 Bosu Ball push ups)

I ended it with some abdominal work, 60 sit ups of course and 60 second planks!
