Sam I Am

Green eggs may sound a little unappetizing but what if I promised you they were delicious! I recently “borrowed” my mom’s MagicBullet (can be viewed at http://www.buythebullet.com) and decided to get a little creative with my new gadget. I had already made a plethora of smoothies, hummus and various sauces, but I felt this small but powerful cross between a food processor and blender was capable of more. That’s when I cracked raw eggs into it to create the fluffiest omelet I had ever eaten. Apparently I wasn’t the only one with this idea, I found out after some research later on. Nonetheless I was feeling pretty good about myself and spent the next couple of days experimenting with different vegetables and spices.

And the winner is….

3 raw eggs

1/8 cup milk

handful of kale

two diced cherry tomatoes

2 TBSP of sautéed chopped onion

1/4 TSP of paprika

Dash of pepper

Dash of salt

Cooking spray or oil

Sautee onions on the stove for five minutes. (Yes, you will taste the difference if you throw them in raw-which is also tasty but the extra 5 minutes is worth it).

Add all other ingredients into the Magic Bullet and blend until liquefied. Grease pan as you wish and pour your mixture in. Flip after 1-2 minutes or until the mixture is solid and then repeat.

Then voila!
